Drop-Off Reporting

On or about the 10th of each month, you sould report to AMPC the monthly drop-off totals from the previous month. To do this, perform thefollowing steps:

  1. From PostalMate's main menu, go to REPORTS > SHIPPING > DROP OFF
  2. In the report box, select "UPS Monthly"
  3. Select the correct month.
  4. Click send. This operation sends the montly total to AMPC, and at the same time, sends you a "verification email" that you can save for your records.
  5. Next, follow the same procedures above, but this time, choose EACH carrier and then select "PRINT" so you have a hard copy of each carrier's monthly totals. These hard copies are saved in the ARS file and used to reconcile our monthly drop-off checks to the actual totals we reported.

DHL Volume Reporting

On or about the 5th of each month, you must also report our DHL Volume to AMPC. This is done to ensure that we are meeting the requirements to stay in the "PPP" or "Preferred Provider Program." To do this, perform the following steps:

  1. From PostalMate's main menu, go to REPORTS > SHIPPING > DHL VOLUME
  2. Choose the correct month from the drop-down menu, if it is not already pre-selected.
  3. Click SEND.
  4. Then print a copy for the store records, which are also saved in the ARS file.

  7. Double click on the downloaded file to install it. Follow the install directions, and the new version will automatically update each computer with the latest version of PostalMate.

How do I know if it's a new update?

In either program, PostalMate or CashMate, go to: HELP > ABOUT. You will see the version of each prgram listed in the dialogue window that opens, and yes, the version numbers are different for both programs. Compare the version number in this window to the version number listed on the PC Synergy website. If they're different, you probably need to update.
